Dr. John v. Kampen is a Dutch science writer, author and journalist living in Spain. He studied business sciences and amongst his expertise are economy, laws, business communications, education and social-psychology. Born in 1946, though as a pensioner today, he still has a vivid interest in Linux, and offers some services as a marketing consultant for a few selected start-ups .

The picture with penguin is a trick-photo from South-Africa, where I photoshopped a real penguin in the place of a brochure, likewise in the Moroccon image the camels on the automobile. During the fiesta of Moros y Cristianos I shot the photo of my wife with a friend in Moroccon dresses. The lake you see is called Pantano del Negratin and is the largest artificial drinkwater reservoir of Europe. Yes, we live in this 'desert'...!
